"Most states tend to carry a recovery plan and have it tucked away in case of an emergency. To find out your state's disaster plan, you can contact your local government agency and request a copy."

The Homeplan is the state where the policy is administered or purchased. For example if you live in Ohio your home plan is Ohio BCBS.

The local plan is where the services are rendered. If the same person mentioned above with a homeplan goes on vacation and has medical services performed in Texas, then Ohio is still the homeplan and Texas is the Local.

Plan, plan, plan.

Once you have an outline of the business, decide which business form you want and then check with the Secretary of State in the state where the business will be formed. You may also have to have local business licenses so you'll need to check with local governmental agencies for answers to these questions.

The State activates its emergency plan, provides needed resources, and requests assistance from other States using existing mutual aid agreements.
